Ask about AP aging and open invoices, invoice coding and payment status, job cost budget vs actual, cost detail and change orders, POs and subcontracts with remaining commitments, GL activity, AR and retainage, and equipment. Answers come from your own Vista data, by company, job, phase and cost type. Nothing is estimated.
Read-only, with access you control
The AI app can't post, pay or change anything in Vista. On the consent screen you pick which modules it can use and can hide people's names, contact details, tax IDs and bank details. Reads are short and give up after 5 seconds rather than wait behind a posting batch, and every request is logged.
Vista on-premise and Vista Cloud
On-premise Vista connects live over SQL with a read-only login. Vista Cloud connects through Trimble App XChange, which keeps a copy of the tables the AI reads current; each answer says how current it is. Works with Claude, ChatGPT and other AI assistants that support MCP connectors.
